Welcome Home. Welcome to Boone’s Farm.
Our family-owned and friendly equestrian boarding facilities and rental homes are located on approximately 140 acres of beautifully maintained KY bluegrass only minutes from the I-75/I-64 intersection in the northeast corridor of Lexington. The farm is on a natural setting with bluegrass pastures, lakes, valleys, forests and gated entrances that provide a safe, peaceful environment for boarding and living.
We offer various boarding options to meet your needs. Boarding on a daily, seasonal or year-round basis are all available. Boarding prices includes electric, water, and manure disposal. All of our Self Care Boarders have access to a designated barn for grooming and tacking-up, and use of the outdoor wash area. We offer a community tack room for saddles and bridles.
A Love of Bluegrass, Horses and Dogs
Bob and Charlotte (B&C) Boone moved to Lexington, KY in the early 1960’s to embark on what became an incredible journey. Bob was a lab technician at the University of Kentucky Tobacco and Health Center and Charlotte worked as a secretary on Waller Avenue. Both had secured their private pilot’s license and enjoyed flying, land conservation and taking care of animals. On the weekends of the early 1970’s, B&C purchased a 100 acre tobacco farm in southern Jessamine County. In the early 1980’s, they moved to the farm, later naming it “ALL HOURS FARM”.
In the early 2000’s, B&C landed their sights on two farms; one on Briar Hill Road and the other on Muir Station Road, collectively referred to as BOONE’S FARM. Their plan was to eventually move to the Muir Station farm home, and spend their retirement doing what Charlotte was enjoying the most…horse rescue and caring for older, malnourished horses. B&C had already done the same for many dogs over the years, and were now fixtures on the lists for saving horses and dogs.
Today, All Hours Farm is peppered with a herd of cattle, horses and of course, several spoiled dogs. David and Diane Lawson and their family manage and maintain All Hours Farm. Mike Meuser, a Lexington equine law attorney, and the Lawson family have been instrumental in the re-building and improvement of Boone’s Farm which today plays host to approximately 40 beautiful horses, five families, a handful of dogs, barn cats, chickens and a lone rooster.
